Golf
The focal point of The Savannah Golf Club is its golf course. This Par 72, 6,772 yard championship layout provides a unique set of challenges to golfers of all skill levels.
As a testament to the course, The Savannah Golf Club recently hosted the 2003 Georgia State Senior Amateur Championship and the 2005 Georgia State Amateur Championship. These tournaments represented the finest golfers within the State of Georgia. The course proved that it could meet the demands of such high level players.
The quality of the course is matched only by its scenic beauty. One hundred year old oak trees, Civil War era Earthen Berms and flowering Azalea bushes located throughout the course are a truly picturesque sight to behold.
